The second educational talk engages St Joseph School students

The Office of the Ombudsman continues with its outreach initiative to bring home to students the significance and importance of civic responsibilities in the context of the right to good administration.

The latest session in the series of educational talks was held at St Joseph School in Blata l-Bajda. Over 70 Form IV students participated in an interactive discussion.

In this informative session, the Commissioner for Education, Chief Justice Emeritus Vincent De Gaetano, dwelt on the Ombudsman’s role and the importance of good governance and the rule of law. The students actively engaged, showing a keen interest in learning about their rights and the mechanisms in place to promote fairness and justice in public administration.

These talks are aimed at cultivating informed and responsible citizens equipped with the knowledge to positively contribute to society.
